Tool Crib Attendant Acra Aerospace - 3.7 Anaheim, CA Job Details Full-time $25 - $27 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility Organizational skills Manufacturing Full Job Description Overview The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for maintaining, organizing, issuing, receiving, and tracking tools, equipment, and supplies used in aerospace manufacturing and production operations. This position ensures tooling inventory accuracy, tool availability, calibration compliance, and adherence to company quality and safety standards. Will be required to assess used cutting tools for either sending for re-grind, re-stocking as usable cutting tool, or scrapping in assigned scrap bin. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Issue and receive tools, equipment, and consumable supplies to employees.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs and/or inventory management systems.
  • Inspect tools and equipment for damage, wear, or missing components.
  • Monitor calibration due dates and coordinate calibration activities for precision tools.
  • Organize and maintain tool crib inventory in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
  • Assemble a Tooling kit of necessary items to produce a part, and issue to shop floor ahead of when needed.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits, as directed.
  • Assist with ordering replacement tools and supplies as needed.
  • Track tool usage, shortages, and loss prevention activities.
  • Support production teams by ensuring timely availability of required tooling.
  • Follow aerospace quality standards, company procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO, AS9100, and other applicable aerospace requirements.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, aerospace, or tool crib environment preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, precision measuring tools, and tooling systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and computer data entry.
  • Ability to read work instructions, part numbers, and tool specifications.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred. Prior work as machinist, inspector, or maintenance work considered an advantage.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or similar systems preferred.
  • Knowledge of calibration tracking systems is a plus. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Manual dexterity required for handling tools and small components.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
  • Estimated job activity is 70% actively walking, moving and 30% standing or sitting.
Work Environment This position works primarily in an aerospace manufacturing facility and tool crib environment. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required. Pay:
