In this vital role, you will be responsible for fabricating, maintaining, and repairing precision tools, dies, and molds used in the production process. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety across all tooling operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply advanced machining techniques and innovative problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment committed to excellence. Duties Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and CAD models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to develop detailed tool designs. Fabricate, assemble, and modify tools and dies using hand tools, welding techniques, stamping presses, and fabrication equipment. Conduct precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy. Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to verify part specifications and maintain quality control. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot tooling issues related to plastics injection molding or stamping processes. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and industry standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Qualifications Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality assurance. Familiarity with stamping press operations is a plus. Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, and tooling maintenance. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately. Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters. Use of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure high-quality outputs.
