  • Full-time We are hiring 1 Manual OD Grinder and 1 Manual ID Grinder .
Applicants must have 5-7 years of experience in ID and/or OD grinding . Do not apply if you do not meet this requirement. We are seeking experienced ID and/or OD Grinder Operators who understand the craft of precision machining and are capable of producing high-quality work across multiple industries, including aircraft components, industrial and food processing equipment. We are a certified FAA Repair Station serving the Los Angeles area since 1947. Our family-owned and operated company has been a leading provider of hard and thin dense chrome plating, grinding and inspection services for over 50 years, serving customers throughout Southern California and nationwide. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual OD and/or ID grinding machines Set up and grind tapers and diameters to specification Hold tight tolerances of ±0.0005" Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings Use micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring tools Requirements 5-7 years of experience in manual OD and/or ID grinding Ability to grind precision parts to tight tolerances and finish requirements Proficient with precision measuring instruments Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality workmanship Additional Information We offer competitive compensation, benefits, and retirement packages. Pre-employment and random substance abuse testing is required under FAA regulations.
Shift:
7:00AM-3:30PM M-F with options for Saturday and O/T available.
Pay:
$30.00
