Job Description We are a 108 year pump manufacturing company searching for a dynamic, detailed, orientated, hardworking individual with a solid work ethic that enjoys a challenge. This position is currently working a 40+ hour workweek. A.R. Wilfley has proudly produced heavy-duty pumps meeting challenging customer requirements for over 100 years and will continue to do so for the next 100 years. This position requires the ability to efficiently setup, inspect and run parts on a horizontal or Vertical lathe. It will require minor program editing on the machine, primarily tool numbers, speed, and feeds. This position is not high-volume production; typical batch sizes are 2 - 10 parts. Setup machine. Adjustment of cutting parameters. Tooling selection. Use of measuring tools, OD & ID mics, calipers, Interpret engineered drawings GD&T Quality of machined parts. Use of overhead and jib cranes to lift fixturing and parts. Maintaining/updating the current setup documentation. Maintaining a clean and organized work area. Preferred Qualifications Machining; stainless steels, hi-chrome, nickel, hard iron alloys. Fanuc/Okuma OSP Able to carry out written, oral, diagram, or picture form instructions. Some skills using computer programs such as Microsoft Office.
