By leveraging your expertise in CNC machining and metal forming, you will ensure our production lines operate at peak efficiency and precision. Responsibilities Fabricate and repair complex jigs, fixtures, and dies to meet rigorous engineering specifications. Operate advanced machinery including manual vertical mills, jig grinders, and CNC equipment to achieve high-tolerance results. Analyze technical blueprints and schematics to translate design requirements into functional hardware. Conduct systematic inspections and testing to guarantee that all tooling meets quality and safety benchmarks. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime and maximize output. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling design. Maintain comprehensive documentation of tool performance, maintenance logs, and repair history. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive experience in tool and die making within a high-precision manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in reading complex technical drawings and blueprints. Expertise in metal stamping, progressive die processes, and precision hand metrology. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in manual grinding and milling. Proven ability to troubleshoot industrial equipment and solve complex mechanical problems. Preferred Skills Specific experience with transfer tooling and miniature retainer bearings. Demonstrated history of participating in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement projects. Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
