Job Description
Tool Crib Attendant responsible for tool crib inventory, tool setup, tool issuing, job box preparation, and inspection of cutting tools, hand tools, fixtures, and related equipment. Job Requirements 2-4 years of Tool Crib Attendant experience Tool grinding experience MS Office experience, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Experience with inventory software Experience with order processing systems Ability to lift at least 30 pounds Experience using inspection tools to measure tooling Preferred Skills Experience supporting machinists in a manufacturing or machining environment Experience creating job boxes Experience labeling fixtures and tooling Experience setting up tools from tool lists and setup sheets Experience inspecting cutting tools and hand tools for wear or defects Job Responsibilities Receive, store, set up, and issue cutting tools, hand tools, fixtures, and related equipment Maintain tool crib inventory levels in computer systems Set up tools based on tool lists and setup sheets Issue tools to machinists as needed Assist machinists with tool crib requests Create job boxes for production or machining jobs Label fixturing and tooling Inspect tools for defects, damage, and wear Measure tools using inspection equipment Perform visual inspections on tools before issuing or returning inventory
