High SchoolResponsibilities Precision Tool Maintenance:
Perform comprehensive maintenance and repair on smaller tool and die injection mold sets by dissasembling , repairing, and re-assembling tool and die machines to guarantee product quality and process efficiency.
Fixture and Automation Creation:
Build, repair, and engineer custom-machined fixtures, racks, and conveyor components.
Advanced Tool Timing & Fitting:
Perform high-level pocket fitting by applying algebraic and trigonometric calculations to accurately time the tooling sequences and ensure precise dimensional accuracy.
Assembly and Fabrication:
Expertly position, align, and join component parts using advanced fitting and welding techniques to create completed industrial systems.
Blueprint reading:
Interpret blueprints and use calipers and micrometers for tolerances.
Precision Machining:
Accurately shape raw workpieces utilizing a full range of manual toolroom machinery, including vertical mills, precision grinders, and heavy-duty drill presses.
Safe Heavy Equipment Operation:
Certified operation of overhead cranes for mold changes and heavy material handling, as well as powered industrial trucks.
Final Mold Fitment:
Expertly "spot and fit" crucial parting lines and mechanical shutoffs of high-pressure injection molds such as lifted heads.
Asset Reporting:
Monitor and log machine performance, proactively reporting any operational or safety anomalies directly to supervisory personnel.
