As a Tool & Die Maker at Ryerson, you will be responsible for assisting in die repairs and building new tools using manual machine lathes and grinders. Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for the construction of new dies from print to completion. Reproduce broken details without assistance Troubleshoot all dies without assistance Operate all manual machines without assistance Owns moderate number of tools needed to perform necessary work Ensures that all tools are returned to their proper location, trash is removed, and the floor is free of debris. Tools and equipment kept clean and in good working condition.
