Temporary or Temp-to-hire About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Cell Operators for a leading engineering & manufacturing company located in Sheldon, IA. Cell Operator:
Tend to one or more machine tools, special-purpose machines, or industrial robots to machine metalwork pieces to specifications on a production basis Read blueprint or job order for product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions, such as fixtures, feed rates, cutting speeds, and depth of cut, and determine the sequence of operations Select, position, and secure the tool in the tool holder (chuck, collet, or tool post) Identify (including nonconforming dimensions) and separate all nonconforming parts Perform accurate inspections required by the print/job sheet using measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to measure workpieces for conformation to specifications Perform secondary operations and inspections, including deburring and cleaning parts produced, as cycle time permits Count finished parts and pack them neatly into a clean container Enter the required data into the computer What You Need to Bring to the
Cell Operator Role:
