Job Description

The Testing Engineer Engineer is responsible for leveraging real world testing in conjunction with Finite Element Analysis and Research teams. Your primary objective is to help drive innovation by developing new products and refining existing ones, ensuring continuous improvement across all brands. Draft testing procedures and guidelines. Create and validate testing programs using MasterCam and NX. Procures quotes for fixturing, machine parts, and in-house tooling. Utilizes Tool Studio and VG Pro to design and grind tooling. Creates visually compelling demo parts to showcase product features and performance. Oversee project timeline to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Schedule post-test inspection of materials and tooling, utilizing advanced tools such as CMM's, 3D tool scanners, and hardness testers. Inspect tools to identify wear characteristics to understand tool life (Alicona & Flex Bar) Draft detailed technical reports to present findings and identify areas for improvement. Work with Maintenance department to ensure machine upkeep and schedule external maintenance if required. Ensure lab cleanliness and organization. Maintains a current tooling and machining knowledge base through literature, field visits, tradeshows, and more. BSME with 1 year of relevant experience, or technical degree with 3 years of relevant experience preferred. 1+ years of CAM (MasterCAM/NX) experience preferred. 1+ years of Tool Grinding & Grinding CAM (ToolStudio/VGPro) experience preferred. 1+ years of CNC milling (Okuma/HAAS controller) experience preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
