Compensation is offered at a rate of up to $28.00 per hour, determined by your verified professional background.
Shift Details:
Please note that initial training is mandatory on the 1st shift for approximately three weeks. The primary schedule for this role is the 3rd shift, running from 11:00pm to 7:30am.

This position centers on the production of machine shop-style tooling, requiring frequent equipment setup and teardown, with a primary focus on lathe-based operations. About the
Position:
The Tool Room Technician manages the configuration, calibration, and operation of both manual and CNC machinery to create, fix, and alter dies, fixtures, gauges, precision parts, and tooling. By maintaining high standards of quality and precision, this role helps the production floor minimize downtime and ensures tooling remains accurate.
Technical Competencies:
Demonstrate advanced skills in interpreting blueprints and GD&T specifications. Utilize manual machining expertise to support essential tool room functions. Apply knowledge of heat treating, various tool steels, and surface finishing techniques. Ensure component accuracy by effectively utilizing micrometers, calipers, and related measurement tools.
Background and Qualifications:
Possess three to seven years of professional experience within a precision machining or tool room setting. Apply your expertise in tight-tolerance machining to ensure high-quality output. Demonstrate a solid understanding of CNC programming principles. Manage the uploading and editing of programs directly into the machinery. Execute CNC mill and lathe setups, including tooling adjustments, offset management, and program verification. Analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to guide manufacturing processes. Fabricate and restore jigs, dies, fixtures, and specialized tooling to keep operations running smoothly. Maintain rigorous precision standards, consistently hitting tolerances of +/- .0005 or as specified. Hold a GED or High School Diploma. Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and manage your own workflow during off-shift hours. Final candidates will undergo a background screening, and a satisfactory result is required to finalize the hiring process.
