RESPONSIBILITIESOperate and maintain machineryReview drawings, instructions, blueprints, and samplesIdentify requirements of outputSelect the appropriate machine and settings for a given taskPosition or load material into the machineProperly plan the sequence of actions to complete the projectMonitor productionMake necessary adjustments to feed, temperature, and other settingsTake inventory of finished productsPerform quality control checksDocument or discard nonconforming productsTroubleshoot malfunctions, perform basic maintenance, or request repairsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentComply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma or equivalentApprenticeship or vocational training is a plusExperience working with machine tools or mechanical assemblyPrevious manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred but not requiredBasic computer and math skillsUnderstanding of necessary tools and equipmentStrong manual dexterity and attention to detailExcellent communication, organization, and coordination skillsMay need to stand for an extended amount of timeMay engage in bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, and liftingSurge hires for a variety of top jobs in the area.
