TOOL & DIE TECHNICIAN
•3RD SHIFT Join a team where your craftsmanship keeps production moving. We're looking for a skilled Tool & Die Technician to support our die casting operations by maintaining and repairing casting and trim dies. If you enjoy hands-on problem solving, precision work, and keeping equipment running at peak performance, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in a stable manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance and repairs on casting and trim dies (toolroom & production floor) Tear down and rebuild dies for refurbishment and improved performance Machine parts using lathes, mills, and grinders to meet quality specs Complete die repairs including stoning, welding (TIG), and cavity cleaning Document all repairs and updates in the toolroom system Troubleshoot issues and make corrections to improve tooling performance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What You Bring Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment (die casting preferred) Working knowledge of: Machine tools (lathe, mill, grinder) Pneumatics, hydraulics, and hoist/crane systems Ability to read, interpret, and execute tooling repairs with precision Basic welding experience (TIG preferred) Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Reliable attendance and commitment to team success Requirements High School Diploma or GED Journeyman certification or willingness to complete apprenticeship program Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and use of hands/tools Visual acuity for detailed precision work ✅ Why Join Us?
