Operators (Dry Department)

M-Th Job Description:

Performs manufacturing activities by adhering to a defined set of procedures and standard outputs to ensure consistent production quality. Tasks include assembling mechanical units or fabricated parts to make sub-assemblies or complete products, and/or using various hand and power tools and operating equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitors quality of products and raw materials. Communicates with colleagues within manufacturing to exchange information, providing explanations or interpretations as necessary to maintain alignment and efficiency. Ensures compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and operational guidelines to support seamless manufacturing processes.
