Job Description
Position Title:
Tool & Die Maker Shift Assignment- 2nd shift (3:00pm
- 11:30pm) $32.50 + shift premium totaling $34.00/hour Location

The Job:
As a Tool & Die Maker , you'll be part of our Shelbyville Manufacturing team working as an on-site employee. You'll get to: Operate and set up machine tools (such as mills, lathes, grinders, etc.) to fabricate, modify, or repair tools and parts as required. Inspect, measure, and test completed tools and parts to ensure conformance to specifications. Assist with the receipt, storage, issue, and return of tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and replacements of tools and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure tools are in proper working condition. Follow safety, housekeeping, and compliance policies within the tool room. Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings in tool manufacturing and maintenance. Component specifications Perform other duties as assigned, including cross-training in other operations.The Person:

High School Diploma or GED required, AA degree or equivalent from college or technical school preferred Technical or vocational training in machining or related field preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, maintenance, or tool room environment. Strong knowledge of industrial tools, equipment, and machining processes. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and commitment to safety. Proficiency in using computerized inventory and maintenance systems. Ability to troubleshoot tool-related issues and perform repairs. Ability to lift and move tools and equipment (up to 33 lbs.). Standing, walking, and manual handling as part of daily activities. Ability to read and write English; understand and comprehend instructions for safety and quality Flexibility to work overtime Must not be on an active Final Coaching for any disciplinary actionThe Details:
