Position Summary

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for ensuring all tools are properly issued and maintained. This position is deemed 'safety sensitive' due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee's co-workers, and/or the public at large.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Organize and maintain tool crib.

Issue tools, expendable items, etc. to employees.

Maintain documentation including: daily sign in/out sheets, order forms to be turned in to management for purchasing, daily inspection and maintenance forms.

Perform minor repairs to tools.

Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations.

The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have good organizational and communication skills.

Physical Demands

Requires discretionary sitting, standing and walking. Must be able to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion. Requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, etc. Weekend work and overtime required. Exposure to temperature fluctuations and noisy work environment.
