POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary Providing support to the Navy cell and bench area. Principal Activities Lubricate and perform minor maintenance functions Participate in bench assembly operations as workload requires perform various grinding, deburring, tapping, tap burning reaming, etc., to obtain proper fit, alignment and/or operation of times. Operate various hand tools, drill presses, tap burner, etc. Remover burrs on all machined parts Detect and report defective materials and faulty operations to proper supervisor. Tolerances are close but not difficult to attain. Maintain tooling. Record all required data in Process Control Sheets including finished dimensions checked, measuring instruments used, serial numbers, etc. Record labour times and other related data on standard forms

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities). US Citizenship is required for DOD requirements. Education & Experience Must have HS diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum of one years' experience in a manufacturing environment working with hand tools required.
