Tool & Die Specialist - Progressive Die Maintenance & Repair 1st or 2nd Shift Position Summary We are seeking a skilled tool and die professional to support production by maintaining and/or repairing progressive stamping dies. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving, and bringing a calm sense of urgency to the team. You will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to safety, cleanliness, and efficiency while following company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Keep Tooling Assets Production-Ready Preventive maintenance Troubleshooting Emergency repairs Adjustments Continuous improvement See the bigger picture Diagnose recurring issues Optimize die performance Reduce downtime Extend die life Operate equipment including mills, lathes, and grinders Record maintenance logs/issues in computer software Submit Purchase Requisitions for die components, tool steel, and other items as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications/Expectations Experience with progressive dies strongly preferred Proficient in reading blueprints and models Ability to use measurement tools (mics, calipers, gauges, etc) to verify dimensions and specs Journeyman Tool & Die Maker Certification a strong plus Registered Apprenticeship or other credentials a strong plus Must have your own tools related to the position Familiarity with ISO and or IATF standards preferred Ability to interface with Tool Makers, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Purchasing

Competitive Pay:
$25-$43.23 per hour Rate within this range will be based on experience and shift - we proudly offer our 2nd shift a 10% premium!
