We are a tool and die shop specializing in the design, simulation, and build of progressive, line, and transfer stamping dies for a variety of industries. This position will work closely with our toolmakers, machinists, and engineering team to build and assemble high-quality stamping dies. The ideal candidate is a motivated problem solver who takes pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoys working in a collaborative shop environment. Responsibilities Build, assemble, and troubleshoot progressive, line, and transfer stamping dies Read and interpret die design prints and CAD models Fit and assemble die components to tight tolerances Operate manual toolroom equipment including mills, grinders, and lathes Perform spotting, fitting, and timing of die components Assist with die tryouts and debugging Work with engineering and machining teams to resolve design or build issues Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow company safety procedures Qualifications 10+ years of die making experience (progressive die experience preferred) Ability to read and interpret die prints and blueprints Strong understanding of tool steel, die components, and stamping processes Experience with surface grinders, manual mills, and toolroom equipment Experience with spotting, fitting, and die timing Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team
