Tool Maker

Started in 1988, AccuBilt is an experienced turn-key systems builder and integrator of both flexible and dedicated automation. Our highly skilled team has experience in the design and manufacturing of robotic (MIG) GMAW welding cells, resistance welding cells, complex material handling cells, automated assembly cells, and testing systems. We are looking to hire a Tool Maker/ Machinist to join our team. This position includes machining one off details for specific tolerances while maintaining quality parts. CNC programming experience with Mastercam certification preferred.

Essential Functions:

Operates mills, drills presses, CNC's, grinders, saws, lathes and calculates the proper speeds and feeds to manufacture tooling detail for weld and assembly fixtures. Interprets blueprints required in manufacturing of tooling details and assembly fixturing. Verify detail accuracy using inspection tools, calipers, micrometers, depth mics, thread gages, dial bore gages, indicators, gage blocks and CMM. Well organized work in a clean environment. Maintains equipment and assists in maintenance of facility. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Starting wage is based on experience and can be negotiable upon hire.
