Job Description

Position Summary Tribal Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Epic Hydromat Operator with strong CNC machining skills. This role is responsible for operating Hydromat/CNC equipment, maintaining efficiency, and producing high-quality parts while meeting production standards.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Hydromat and CNC machines in a production environment
  • Maintain 80% uptime efficiency
  • Perform hourly quality checks and follow all inspection procedures
  • Maintain 3-4 SPC charts per shift and complete first article inspections
  • Complete tooling changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments (G & M codes)
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues
  • Read and interpret blueprints and process sheets
  • Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance (oil, grease, etc.)
  • Run secondary equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE use and lockout/tagout
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Accurately complete production and quality documentation All other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years CNC/Hydromat experience
  • Working knowledge of G & M codes, offsets, and tooling adjustments
  • Ability to read blueprints and hold tight tolerances
  • Experience with inspection tools and quality processes
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and temperature variations
  • Required use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection)
  • Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and movement
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 lbs
