Position SummaryPlan, construct, alter, and repair a wide variety of tools, dyes, fixtures, and machinery where accurate relationship and fitting requires maintenance of very close tolerances.
ResponsibilitiesMake tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, special machinery try-outs, and diagnose and correct problemsSet-up and operate all tool room equipment, including but not limited to a mill lathe, CNC equipment, and EDMMust use constant care in safety precautions when constructing, altering, or debugging special machineryMust be accountable for process, evaluation, measurement, documentation, and improvement on a continuous basisMust be able to plan, construct, altar, and repair a wide variety of tools, dyes, fixtures, and machineryMust be able to operate all tool room equipment, such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, etc.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma or G.E.D equivalent required.
