Job Description

Job Description Summary Job Description The Muskegon Toolmaker, using CAD models, manufactures fixture and gage details and assembles components to complete functional assembly within allowable tolerances, within expected time frame and within forecast costs. They are also expected to make necessary fixture and gage repairs to keep with job running while producing parts that meet the blueprint. Ability to use NC WEDM and VMC machines as well as traditional tool making equipment such as knee-mills and surface grinders to manufacture and repair fixtures and gauges. Ability to use CAM and CAD software
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Journeyman Apprenticeship Certification High School Diploma or GED Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift A minimum of 12 months' experience building aerospace tooling Must supply their own hand tools This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
