ASAP We are pleased to extend an offer for the position of Tool and Die Designer at Falcon Tool and die . In this role, you will play a key part in our engineering and production team, responsible for designing high-precision tools, dies, used in manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure that all designs meet both performance and cost-effectiveness standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop tools and dies using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Auto
CAD, CATIA
). Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create custom tooling solutions. Modify existing designs based on production feedback and performance analysis. Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and project managers throughout the tooling lifecycle. Ensure all designs comply with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in tool and die design, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software and strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Familiarity with CNC machining and die-making processes is a plus.
