6: 00am•4: 30pm Monday•Thursday Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Toolmaker with a strong background in metal stamping to join our manufacturing team. The Toolmaker will be responsible for creating, repairing, and maintaining precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in punch press operations. This role requires strong blueprint reading, machining, and troubleshooting skills to ensure accurate fabrication and efficient production. Key Responsibilities Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD files Set up and operate manual and CNC machines including mills, lathes, grinders, and surface finishers Assemble, fit, and test tools and dies Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on stamping tools and dies Troubleshoot tooling and stamping issues with engineering and production teams Modify existing tools and fixtures as needed Maintain documentation of tool builds, repairs, and modifications Follow all safety, quality, and production standards Requirements Tool & Die apprenticeship, technical training, or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years of experience with metal stamping tooling Experience with compound blanks, progressive dies, fixtures, and gauges Strong understanding of die clearances, press setup, and material flow Ability to read blueprints and GD&T specifications Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Experience with in-die sensors and die protection systems Haas CNC machining experience CAD/CAM software experience Lean manufacturing knowledge Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability Insurance Paid Time Off 401k
