The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and fabrication, with experience in creating precision tools and dies used in the production of various components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to read and interpret schematics, and proficiency in operating both manual and CNC machinery. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble precision tools, dies, and fixtures according to specifications. Operate lathes, milling machines, and CNC equipment to produce high-quality components. Utilize electrical discharge machining (EDM) techniques for intricate designs. Conduct inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools to ensure accuracy. Interpret technical drawings and schematics to guide fabrication processes. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Experience Proven experience as a Tool and Die Maker or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software for designing tools and dies is preferred. Familiarity with plastics injection molding processes is a plus. Strong understanding of machining principles, including welding techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
