1 Description American Traveler is seeking a PTA for an Acute Care Hospital position in New Mexico, open to first-time travelers with at least 1 year of experience and a valid NM license. Details Acute Care Hospital setting, PTA unit Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Epic charting system experience is preferred 13-week contract Requirements Active NM PTA license required; pending license accepted with an ETA of 2-3 weeks License required if applicable Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA required Current BLS certification required Additional Information First-time travelers will be considered for this position Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler No travel pairs or groups will be accepted Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
