Holiday Parties, Golf Outing, Fishing Tournament Tuition reimbursement (up to 100%) Wellness coaching Your Responsibilities Use sketches, blueprints, specifications, and models to plan operations for the machining of tools and assemblies, ensuring safety and maximum efficiency Programs, sets up, and operates tool room equipment including mills, lathes, and grinders Verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, CMMs, Optical Comparators, and other quality gages Utilize hand and machine tools to assemble parts of tools and to repair and modify gauges, and jigs Design fixtures to be used as work aids for efficient fabrication of products and parts Work collaboratively with other departments to assist in both product design and design for manufacturing Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools Interface with external and internal customers, handle supplier and customer concerns and work with team members to solve problems during the production process File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly Selects the proper metals and materials to be used based on properties, ensuring they meet project specifications Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Tool Room Experience Mill, Lathe, and Grinding experience (Prototrak experience required, Hurco experience a plus) Quality oriented Has Computer knowledge and has own tools Reliable with an excellent attendance record. Must stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to the floor and be able to lift between 10 and 50 pounds frequently Why Join Millat Industries? Stability and Legacy
