Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to ensure optimal production performance by maintaining, repairing, and assembling complex tooling systems while interpreting detailed engineering schematics. Responsibilities Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues with dies directly within the press to minimize production downtime. Execute precise repairs and modifications to tooling to maintain high-quality output standards. Assemble new die components with high accuracy to support ongoing manufacturing initiatives. Analyze and interpret complex blueprints to guide the fabrication and maintenance process. Collaborate with production teams to ensure tooling configurations meet specific project requirements. Maintain a proactive approach to equipment maintenance to extend the lifespan of critical manufacturing assets. Qualifications Required Skills Valid Journeyman's card in Tool and Die making. Proven professional experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and schematics. Demonstrated ability in equipment troubleshooting and complex die repair. Strong verbal communication skills for effective team collaboration. Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a pre-employment drug screening. Preferred Skills Experience with various press types and metal forming processes. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving capabilities. Commitment to safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
