Schedule:

Four 10-hour days, Monday- Thursday (three day weekends!). Occasional weekend overtime depending on business needs.

Your day-to-day might include:

Maintaining efficiency with time management allotted per project. Retrieving raw materials, according to blueprints for designated parts. Reviewing blueprints, drawings, specifications prior to starting to machine or assemble tools. Verifying dimensions, alignments, and clearances of parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators. Operating a forklift safely and overhead crane while maintaining all safety guidelines. Determining the tools necessary to complete jobs by customer specifications. Working independently with minimal guidance on operational and technical challenges. Concentrating for extended periods of time, paying close attention to detail. Performing daily, weekly and monthly PM tasks to ensure machine longevity, as needed. Other job duties as assigned.

What You Need:

High school diploma or GED. 3 Years' experience with tool and die machining, preferred. Front load forklift experience. Basic math skills required. What the

Job Is Like Physically:

Be able to stand for long periods of time on a concrete floor while possibly, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, crouching, crawling, kneeling, and balance. Be able to go up and down stairs. Be able to be in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment being exposed to forklift, machining, and potentially other loud noises. Be able to hear and have close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Be able to wear all necessary PPE such as steel toed boots, safety glasses, etc.
