PM Job Type:
Full-Time | Manufacturing Job Order #: 123874 Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Tool & Die Maker to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. The Senior Tool & Die Maker will build, repair, and maintain progressive, transfer, and/or line dies to ensure high-quality production and minimal downtime. This role requires strong machining knowledge, die troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. Essential Duties & Responsibilities The Senior Tool & Die Maker role includes: Build, assemble, and fit new dies according to engineering specifications and blueprints Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair dies to maintain production quality Perform preventive maintenance on dies, tools, and fixtures Operate manual mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC equipment as needed Perform die spotting, tryouts, adjustments, and fine-tuning Diagnose tooling issues during production and implement corrective solutions Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams Maintain documentation for repairs and maintenance activities Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards Required Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of Tool & Die experience (building, repairing, maintaining dies) Strong ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings, and GD&T Knowledge of stamping processes, die mechanics, and tool steels Skilled in machining, grinding, polishing, and precision fitting Proficient with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and precision measuring tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High School Diploma or GED required Technical training or apprenticeship preferred Work Environment & Physical Requirements Manufacturing/production floor environment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, and extended hand use Overtime may be required based on production needs If you are a highly skilled professional ready to take the next step in your career, apply today for the Senior Tool & Die Maker opportunity in Catoosa.
