Description The toolroom technician is responsible for supporting tooling performance, maintenance, and optimization within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures tooling meets quality specifications, supports production efficiency, and adheres to safety and environmental standards. The ideal candidate bring strong technical expertise, troubleshooting ability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES
include but are not limited to: Tooling preventative maintenance adherence
Minor machining of mold components
Measurement of tooling and spec performance
New tooling spec verification
Changeover time reduction
ISO/TS 16949 & 14001
adherence
Cleanliness and organizational improvements
Safety
Efficiency improvements
Lean Manufacturing Implementation
Communication of equipment and output problems to supervisor
Shift to Shift communication
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
3-5 years experience in tearing down, changing over and cleaning molds
Able to read blueprints
