Multi-Level Die Setters 2nd & 3rd Shifts Saint Marys, PA 1 DAYS AGO 22604103 Summary Saint Marys, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Evening, Night Shift / Full-Time Description Employer is seeking to hire experienced and dependable Multi Level Die Setters on the off shifts (2nd shift 3:30 p. m. - 11:30 p.m. and 3rd shift 11:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) Candidates will be responsible for removal, setup, assembly and troubleshooting of multi-action tooling into higher tonnage presses as well as conventional presses.
Core Responsibilities:
Experience in tooling setup, assemble, install die cavities, adjust upper and lower punches, and core rods for multi action presses as well as conventional presses. Conduct proper first checks and audits after setups are completed and before production starts. Be able to trouble shoot, identify, and resolve malfunction and defects that may occur during the compaction process to minimize scrap and downtime. Maintain accurate production logs, setup sheets and adjustment records. Be able to work in tandem with the Q.C. Department to resolve any issues you or they would encounter. Experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate. Candidate should have proficient knowledge of press setups, tooling and the ability to read process sheets as well as strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
