Job Description

  • Die Repair Technician
  • Overview
  • Join a structured 2-year Die Repair Training Program combining hands-on work and classroom instruction. You'll develop skills in die setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with progress evaluations every 1,000 hours. Candidates with prior experience may advance faster.

  • 25 •Key Responsibilities•+ Inspect stamped parts to identify defects and trace root causes within dies + Repair and replace tooling components (punches, guide pins, forming stations, etc.
) + Measure and shim components to meet precise tolerances + Use precision tools (micrometers, gauges, comparators) to verify quality + Perform die changeovers, machine setup, and feed adjustments + Install/remove dies and configure equipment for production runs + Participate in training, coursework, and periodic assessments + Follow safety standards, procedures, and company policies
  • Required Skills
  • + High school diploma or equivalent + 1+ year manufacturing or machine operating experience + Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills + Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring equipment + Willingness to complete a structured training program
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Experience with stamping, machining, or tool & die work + Knowledge of metalworking, grinding, or industrial maintenance + Ability to interpret tolerances and perform shim adjustments
