Job Description

Now Hiring Tool Maker York, PA Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Additional Compensation :
$1,000 stay bonus (6 months) and
Benefits:
100% covered benefits (valued at $5-$6/hr)

Responsibilities:
Build, repair, and maintain progressive and compound dies Play a critical role in the manufacturing process of high-precision metal stamping Work closely with engineers, operators, and other toolmakers to maintain and improve production tooling Grind, fit, assemble, and repair dies with a high level of precision Troubleshoot tooling issues and make adjustments to restore optimal performance Read and interpret blueprints, tooling layouts, and specifications Improve existing dies to increase uptime and efficiency Support the build and development of new tooling
Requirements:
Proven experience with high-speed progressive dies in a manufacturing environment Manual machining expertise Able to troubleshoot complex tooling issues on the production floor Strong surface grinding, tool fitting, and precision measurement skills Ability to read and understand complex blueprints Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality work on the first shift High School Diploma or GED.
