Wardwell is a manufacturing facility in Central Falls that is a leading international supplier of braiding machines and parts in the wire and cable industry.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Lay out, construct, alter or repair a variety of tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges to close tolerances. Perform development work and difficult tool room machining operations. Work out mechanism details, fit and assemble parts, diagnose and correct trouble in ordinary dies and tools. Use lathes, millers, drill presses, arbor presses, pedestal grinders, surface grinders, internal and external grinders, belt sanders and heat treat units. Use measuring and gauging devices such as, calipers, master micrometers, micrometers, gauge blocks,
•dial indicators, height and depth gauges, feeler gauges and a wide variety of other measuring and gauging instruments. Use a variety of small hand tools including, files, allen wrenches, screw drivers and others. Work from blueprints, sketches and verbal instructions. Perform a variety of other duties as directed by supervision. Maintain machines and work place in a neat, clean and orderly condition. Maintain work area in a neat, clean and orderly condition. Comply with all company rules and regulations. Comply with all of Stolberger's rules and safety regulation. Must be able to lift to 60lbs. Accepts new challenges and opportunities for growth.
Pay:
$33.12 - $37.40 per hour
