TOOL ING TECHNICIAN

Automation Personnel Servi c es is seeking Tooling Technicians f or a foam manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, TN. Qualified is a skilled trades professional s will build, install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot the tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and production equipment used in manufacturing. Positions are full time temporary to hire.

Pay Rates:

1 st shift: $24.25 2 nd shift: $ 24.25 per hour plus $.75 shift differential Shifts and Schedules 1 st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday 2 nd shift: 3 :00 pm - 11 :30 p m Monday-Friday Tool ing Technician Duties and Responsibilities Constructing and making aluminium tool/ molds from the rough casting to a tool/ mold ready for production Complete work orders in ITS2 Complete TQR on New Tools as well as complete required forms. Make tool modifications Follow tooling PM schedule to complete preventative maintenance on tools as well as tooling completing repairs Troubleshooting tool/ mold defects. The tool/ mold maker also plans layouts and constructs jigs and other items as required. Tool ing Technician Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience: tool repairs & modifications, fabrication with aluminium and carbon steel. High School diploma or equivalent. Read and understand blueprints and use tape measure to 1/16 th Skilled in the use of all machine shop equipment including lathe, milling machines, radial drill, aluminium and steel welding equipment and various hand tools. Must be able to plan and follow the job through to completion doing all the necessary work required of the job. Must be able to work with equipment required for plumbing on tool/ molds .
