Staffing Solutions is recruiting experienced Tool & Die Technicians for direct-hire positions with an established automotive manufacturer in Gallatin, TN. These positions are best suited for someone who is comfortable working hands-on with dies and tooling and can troubleshoot, repair and make adjustments without needing to be taught the fundamentals of the trade. Pay & Shifts 2nd

Shift:

3:00 PM-11:30 PM, Monday-Friday $30

• 35/hr + $2.

00/hr shift premium 3rd

Shift:

11:00 PM-7:30 AM, Sunday-Thursday $30

• 35/hr + $2.

25/hr shift premium Training may take place on 1st shift depending on trainer availability. What You'll Be Working With This position supports an automotive manufacturing and metal stamping operation.

The work includes:

Die maintenance, troubleshooting and repair Preventive maintenance on dies and tooling Tooling modifications and adjustments Lathes, mills and grinders Jigs and fixtures Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation Precision measuring instruments Machining, fitting and fabrication Welding as needed What We Need At least 2 years of hands-on Tool & Die, die maintenance or closely related tooling experience Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills Ability to read blueprints and work within required tolerances Experience using standard Tool & Die and machining equipment Experience in metal stamping or automotive manufacturing is a plus Technical or Tool & Die training is preferred This is not an entry-level Tool & Die position.
