This role involves maintaining, repairing, and optimizing dies, molds, and tooling equipment used in high-precision manufacturing processes such as plastics injection molding and stamping. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on dies, molds, and tooling equipment to minimize downtime and maintain optimal performance. Interpret schematics, modify designs, and assist in tooling fabrication or adjustments. Conduct electrical discharge machining (EDM) operations to create or repair complex die features with high accuracy. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges to verify dimensions and ensure adherence to specifications. Fabricate tooling components through welding, fabrication techniques, and mechanical assembly using hand tools and fabrication equipment. Read and interpret technical schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings to guide repair procedures. Requirements Working experience in die repair, tooling maintenance, or a related manufacturing role with strong mechanical aptitude. Experience working with plastics injection molding dies or stamping presses is preferred. Ability to read schematics, mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams, and schematics accurately. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and gauges. Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing processes related to tooling design, assembly, machining, and fabrication. #BWC3

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
