Worker Sub Type Per Diem Work Shift Pay Grade 154 Job Description The Radiologic Technologist is an important position on our team which works with other staff in achieving high quality, patient centered care. This position requires the desire and ability to work with all types of patients from pediatrics to geriatrics. The successful Radiologic Technologist also possesses the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of Medical Assistants, LPNs, Paramedics, and Radiologic Technologists. The Radiologic Technologist often collaborates with the Registration team, Provider team, and other departments to provide seamless, high-quality care to our patients. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to work calmly under stressful conditions within time constraints. Education High School Diploma or GED required. Certification & Licensure Licensed in the State of Virginia or West Virginia depending on the location of primary position. Secondary state license may be required within six months of hire. Valid ARRT registration required at time of employment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved is required. New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation. Qualifications Must be willing to work in all

clinics, carry licenses that allow for the capabilities, and be flexible with last minute assignments. Be cross trained in areas as designated by Urgent Care/Occ Health management within 45 days of employment. Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information needed in order to provide care for the age group of patients served.
