Full Job Description Job Summary:

To support the manufacturing floor with tools, tooling and shop supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Builds tools and pulls fixtures per set up sheet using shop dispatch report and direction from Manufacturing Leads/Manager.
• Receive, maintain and issue hand tools, machine tools, dies, replacement parts, shop supplies and equipment, including measuring devices.
• Tear down, clean up and put away tools and tooling returned from manufacturing floor.
• Issue and/or change out tools requested.
• Help monitor inventory of non supplier managed cutting tools and supplies.
• Prioritize use of all company owned cutting tools and supplies before consuming new product from supplier owned inventory. (auto crib)
• Maintain area organization and cleanliness.
• Maintain storage, issue and return of fixtures per procedures.
• Responsible for supporting the calibration process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED, or proven work history
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills required.

Able to work in a fast pace environment and have strong tooling knowledge for both lathe and mill applications.

Abilities Required:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ability to read and follow AS9100 work instructions
• Typing and accurate data entry.
• MRP systems

Desirable Qualifications:

• Epicor Vista Software knowledge desirable
• Trained in Vista "Receipt entry" functions.
• At least one year experience in a machine shop or tooling distribution center.

Specifically, in inventory control, materials management, and tool control.
