Job Title:
Tool & Die Machinist Job Description Candidates will be responsible for Tool & Die making, focusing on building, repairing, and maintaining tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and gauges. The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications, as well as setting up and operating manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses. Responsibilities Build, repair, and maintain tools, dies, molds, fixtures, and gauges. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications. Set up and operate manual machining equipment including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses. Troubleshoot tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges. Modify tooling as needed to improve production efficiency and product quality. Conduct preventative maintenance on tooling and related equipment. Work closely with engineering, maintenance, and production teams. Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards. Maintain clean and organized work area. Essential Skills 3+ years tool making or Tool & Die experience. 3+ years blueprints reading. 2+ years experience setting up and operating manual machining equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses. 2+ years experience with precision measurements. High school diploma or GED required. Strong understanding of machining practices and metalworking processes. Ability to read blueprints and work with tight tolerances. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications CNC experience. Technical degree or apprenticeship in Tool & Die, Machining, or related field preferred. Journeyman certification. Welding and fabrication experience. CAD/CAM knowledge. Experience in stamping, injection molding, or precision manufacturing environments. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices. Why Work Here? Shift:
Monday-Thursday from 6:00AM to 3:30PM and Friday from 6:00AM to 12:00PM, within a team of 4-5 others. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
