Job Description

SUMMARY Incumbents perform skilled activities related to the operation of water reclamation facilities (including Bio solids handling), reclaimed water systems, and recharge basins and wells. Incumbents are responsible for complying with regulations and permit conditions. Incumbents monitor treatment processes, perform laboratory analyses, inspect equipment, perform troubleshooting activities, take compliance samples, keep regulatory records, perform minor maintenance, and use a computerized maintenance management system. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or G.E.D., and two years of wastewater utilities experience. Additional education cannot be substituted for experience.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must have at the time of hire and be able to maintain a valid Arizona driver license. Must have an Arizona State Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Grade 1 Wastewater Collections System Operator Certification.
