Job Description
Our client is hiring for a Water/ Wastewater Plants Operator to support our mission support client in Bridgeport, CA. This role will operate fully onsite and may offer relocation for the right candidate. Our operations management, engineering, and project management services provide our customers with value and expertise to ensure operational readiness for complex and mission-critical facilities.The Water/Wastewater Plants Operator will have the necessary qualifications, technical knowledge, experience and skills required to efficiently operate, maintain and repair the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection System. Operate and maintain a variety of facilities, equipment, and systems involved in wastewater treatment processes.
Monitor plant operation through visual observation and computer screens, regulating flows.
Perform chemical analysis and tests to ensure the facility's final effluent meets quality standards.
Document and maintain data regarding plant operations for quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
Assign and demonstrate operation and maintenance tasks to other staff and provide technical guidance.
Review plans for plant upgrades and meet with consultants and contractors.
Train or ensure training and updating of skills for all wastewater plant employees.
RequirementsRequired:
Must hold a current/valid operator's wastewater certification level I or higher issued by the Wastewater Works Operators Certification Board of Examiners from applicable states California, Nevada. Must be willing to obtain TI and DI within 60 days of employment.
An OIT will be considered for the right candidate. Candidate will be required to test for the Wastewater certification within 60 days of employment. Experience with projects or contracts of similar scope.
Must be a U.S. citizenAbility to obtain required clearances and gate passes to get on military bases.
