Mechanical aptitude and experience with pumps and piping systems, filtration units, and water chemistry are essential. The work entails operating temporary construction site water treatment systems, monitoring operational parameters, maintaining field logs and conducting system maintenance. Operations frequently involve shift work and long hours as well as out of town work through out the State of California. Technicians can expect paid travel in company vehicle for all out of town work.

Active Treatment Systems Inc. provides an 8 hour company paid training class followed by 32 hours of field operations training, leading to certification as an Active Treatment System Operator. In addition to the above criteria, candidates will be evaluated on their potential to move up into full-time roles in the company. An Associate Degree is a plus. ATS provides comprehensive water treatment services for construction sites, industrial and marine facilities, business parks, residential complexes and more, where construction and other activity can cause water to become contaminated with silt and clay which is in the resident soils and/or other environmentally threatening contaminants. We view our job as freeing our clients from the burden of water treatment, so that they can concentrate entirely on their primary activity of construction and operations. Applicants can expect physical labor i.e. lifting and carrying 50-100lbs to be part of daily job responsibilities'.
