Job Description

As an Industrial Tech, you'll join a collaborative team ensuring that our clients can deliver their services - uninterrupted. Based in East Portal, CO you'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of tasks in the operation, maintenance, calibration, diagnosis, and repair of the equipment, instruments, processes and support systems of an industrial wastewater treatment facility that processes 100K gallons a day. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in the facilities. You'll operate and monitor a single industrial wastewater treatment plant located in East Portal, CO. Working with ultra membrane filtration, centrifuge operation, sludge decanting/processing, pH/turbidity meters, motorized valves, generators, and more. You'll also be collecting regular compliance samples, performing bench laboratory tests, overseeing contractors on site, and performing other duties as required to keep the treatment plant functioning properly. Most importantly, you'll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team.
- Experience with industrial production techniques and industrial equipment
- High School Diploma or possession of a GED Certificate
- Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data management software
- Experience working in wastewater treatment.
- A valid driver's license with no major infractions
Ideally, You'll Also Have:
- A current, or working towards obtaining an intermediate level water/wastewater treatment certification
- Some post high school education related to industrial water/wastewater utility operations and maintenance
- Familiarity of the principles and practices of industrial water/wastewater treatment plant operations, valves, pumps, motors, and sample testing.
- Safe work practices.
