Job Summary This person will be responsible for the successful maintenance & operation of the wastewater treatment plant. Responsibilities Perform all aspects of sampling, monitoring and testing required to maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations governing the wastewater treatment process and management Operates sewage treatment, sludge processing, and disposal equipment to control flow and processing of sewage Perform daily checks of the wastewater treatment process and periodic checks of pump stations Responsible for preventative maintenance of plant equipment and perform repairs of machinery and equipment as needed Read and interpret meters and gauges that monitor the purification process and operation Collects and records data for record maintenance and reporting Performs facility grounds maintenance including cleaning equipment and tanks Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, clean-ups, pruning, and other typical landscape maintenance tasks Performs other related duties as directed https://clearwatersolutions.com/careers/apply/ Job Qualifications High school diploma or GED Must possess a state-issued wastewater operator certification Valid driver's license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Records required Experience within a water/wastewater treatment environment Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail Must be available to work weekends, overtime and 'on-call' as needed
