Lead Drain & Sewer Technician / Excavation SpecialistEarn $120,000+ Per YearBuild More Than a Job. Build a Career. Restore Plumbing & Drain is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Lead Drain & Sewer Technician / Excavation Specialist to join our team. This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than just another plumbing job. We're looking for a leader who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving challenging problems, and wants to help build one of the best drain and sewer teams in the Chicagoland area. If you're dependable, positive, customer-focused, and ready to lead by example, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Be Doing Diagnose residential and commercial drain and sewer problems Perform drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, and sewer locating Operate mini excavators and other excavation equipment Complete sewer and water service repairs and replacements Lead excavation projects safely and efficiently Mentor and train apprentice and junior technicians Communicate professionally with customers and explain repair options Maintain a clean, organized truck, equipment, and jobsite Work closely with management to improve quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction We're Looking For Someone Who Is Positive and professional Dependable and punctual Honest with high integrity A natural leader who enjoys helping others succeed Safety-minded Customer-focused Detail-oriented with pride in quality workmanship Motivated to continue learning and growing Qualifications Experience with drain cleaning and sewer diagnostics Experience operating mini excavators or similar equipment Experience performing sewer replacements and excavations Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Preferred (But Not Required) Hydro jetting experience Sewer camera inspections Pipe bursting or trenchless sewer replacement Water service installation Illinois plumbing license CDL Compensation & Benefits $42-58/hour based on experience, plus uncapped performance bonuses.
