Wastewater & Water Treatment Job Type:
Full-Time Schedule:
Typically Monday-Friday with overtime and weekends as needed

Field-based / On the road Position Summary HIS Constructors, Inc. is hiring an experienced Superintendent to support our Sewer, Utility, and Wastewater/Water Treatment division. Must have experience. The Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day field operations and safety of assigned projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget . We are a growing company with a strong backlog of planned work , offering long-term stability and opportunities for advancement. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Manage projects from startup through completion Lead daily field operations including manpower, equipment, and subcontractors Promote and enforce jobsite safety, including daily safety huddles and training Coordinate with Project Management to maintain schedules, production goals, and cost control Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting (internal and external) Communicate effectively with customers, inspectors, agencies, and project teams Supervise, mentor, and develop crews to drive performance and accountability Support equipment utilization and jobsite efficiency Qualifications / Requirements Minimum 3 years experience as a Foreman or Superintendent (construction) in sewer, utility, and/or waste-water water treatment projects. Strong knowledge of construction means/methods and jobsite safety practices Ability to lead teams, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities Strong communication skills and professionalism with clients and crews Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); construction software experience is a plus Valid driver's license, Clean driving record, and reliable transportation Union titles, qualifications, pay, experience apply to Union prospects
Experience:
Candidates must have experience in one or more of the following: Wastewater / water treatment / pipework / civil infrastructure
