Shift:

Part-Time with 1st and 2nd Shift Flexibility What You'll Do As a Plant Operator I, you will work alongside experienced operators while developing the skills needed to independently operate wastewater treatment processes and equipment.

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring and operating wastewater, sludge, and FOG treatment systems Observing plant conditions and making process adjustments as directed Monitoring control panels, gauges, meters, and instrumentation Performing routine laboratory testing including TSS, COD, pH, conductivity, and related analyses Maintaining accurate plant logs, reports, and operational records Assisting with receiving and processing incoming waste streams

Requirements:

Qualifications Valid and current Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator certification recognized by the state DEP Valid driver's license

• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pumps, valves, blowers, hydraulics, or similar equipment Ability to perform laboratory testing and maintain accurate documentation
• Basic math and computer skills (Word, Excel) Ability to pass a drug screen and physical examination Ability to obtain confined space entry and forklift certifications if not already certified What We Offer Competitive starting pay

Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
